Meg Ryan is back in the romcom genre

This will be Meg Ryan’s second feature film as a director after the 2015 “Ithaca”. She will also play the lead role against “Archive X” star David Duchovny. “What Happens Later” aims for a cinema premiere in 2023.

Ryan broke through in the 80’s and 90’s with romantic comedies such as “When Harry Met Sally”, “Sleepless in Seattle” and “You Have Mail”. Her latest major film role was in the drama comedy “The Women” in 2008.
